More than a decade ago, a simple Arduino project sparked a passion that changed my life. It all began when a professor introduced me to programming. I was amazed by the process of breaking down big problems into small, manageable steps and refining solutions over time.
That first tiny project opened the door to countless creative adventures. I’ve built robots, developed home automation systems, designed a surfboard marketplace app, and even crafted a radio-controlled tank. Each project taught me something new and deepened my love for technology.
Today, I’m proud to work as a senior database engineer at Oracle, where I design and manage complex database systems that ensure critical data is always accessible. Throughout my career, I’ve contributed to projects for world-class businesses, government organizations, and even military systems.
Life has taken me across the globe—from Moldova (where I was born) to Italy, Luxembourg, and now Gijón, Spain. Along the way, I picked up five languages, which has been a wonderful way to connect with people from all walks of life.
One of my proudest achievements came in Gijón when I joined the NASA Space Apps Challenge. Our team was formed on the spot, but we created a great energy instantly. Together, we created something incredible, and to our amazement, we won the Global NASA Space Apps Challenge 2024!
When I’m not working, I love exploring. I enjoy traveling, playing guitar, trying new things, and spending time with friends. I’m always looking for new experiences and fresh ideas.
I’m passionate about building, learning, and working with others. If you love problem-solving and creating too, let’s connect—we might make something amazing together!
